In short: MoniUsed is a tool for recording your own income and expenses. It is not a bank, it does not hold or move money, and it does not give financial advice. Keep your login safe, use the app honestly, and we'll do our best to keep it running and your records private.
1. Who we are
MoniUsed ("we", "us") is a personal expense-tracking app for people in Nigeria, available at moniused.vercel.app. By creating an account or using MoniUsed, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.
2. What MoniUsed is, and isn't
- MoniUsed helps you record money you received and money you spent, and shows you totals and summaries.
- MoniUsed does not hold, send, receive, save or invest money. It is not a bank, wallet, lender or licensed financial institution.
- Nothing in MoniUsed is financial, tax or legal advice. Decisions you make about your money are your own.
- Your totals are only as accurate as the entries you add.
3. Your account
- You must give a real email address and keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
- MoniUsed is meant for people aged 18 and over. Younger users may only use it with a parent's or guardian's permission.
- Tell us straight away if you think someone else has accessed your account.
4. Using MoniUsed fairly
You agree not to:
- try to access other people's accounts or data, or get around our security;
- upload profile photos that are offensive, illegal, or belong to someone else without permission;
- use MoniUsed for fraud or anything illegal;
- overload, copy, resell or interfere with the service.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.
5. Plans and payments
- Starter is free.
- Plus and Premium are paid plans that are coming soon. Nothing is charged today.
- When paid plans launch, the price, billing period and what each plan includes will be shown clearly before you pay. Prices may change, but a change will never apply to a period you've already paid for.
- We may give some users a plan for free (for example, testers). This can end at any time.
6. Your records
The entries you add belong to you. You can export or delete them from your Profile at any time. We only use them to run MoniUsed for you, as explained in the Privacy Policy.
7. Availability
We work hard to keep MoniUsed running, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may change, add or remove features. Keep your own copy of anything important by using the export option.
8. Limits of our responsibility
MoniUsed is provided "as is". As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for losses that come from relying on the app's figures, from mistakes in entries, from service interruptions, or from someone using your login. Nothing in these Terms removes rights you have under Nigerian consumer protection law.
9. Closing your account
You can stop using MoniUsed at any time. To have your account fully deleted, contact us (see below). We may close accounts that break these Terms.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. If the changes are important, we'll tell you in the app before they take effect. The date at the top shows the latest version.
11. Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
